FEARS & PHOBIAS

Fear of something is not unnatural, indeed it is not even unhelpful. In fact fear is what causes the adrenaline rush that enables us to flee a dangerous situation or stay and fight. However, if we experience high levels of fear in everyday situations it becomes a problem and a problem that affects the quality of our lives.
When the fear of something is so great that it is paralysing and even the thought creates panic, then we call it a phobia.
Both these situations can be dealt with in hypnotherapy by working with the subconscious mind to find what is at the very root of the problem and then dealing with it and so changing the programme held in the subconscious mind that causes the response.
